Warm-up, stretching, and injury prevention for different age groups

In these short exemplary videos, we wanted to show you an ideal way to prepare the body for an exercise and how to ideally cool-down to speed up the regeneration process after heavy exercise, and to potentially avoid any further injuries. Each exercise was approved by a physiotherapist and kinesiologist.

We divided the videos into two categories for each age group, one is for warming-up, and the second for a cool-down and gentle stretch. Warming-up videos aim to promote blood circulation in muscles to prepare them for further exercise load and to move the synovial fluid in joints. The cool-down is focused on gently stretching all the muscle groups most used in climbing and on activation of the antagonist groups that are not used primarily in climbing.
